Here at Studio 85, we are often asked by customers if their old videos can be upscaled to HD, or even 4K. The short answer is no. While there are high tech machines out there to make this possible (I'm looking at you, Hollywood), some smaller companies claim to provide this service, however, it's more of a "facelift". Snazzy filters and the introduction of A.I. software may help the image look a tad nicer, but it's not true upscaling. And from what we've seen, like most facelifts, you can tell when it's fake.
